It would depend on how you define “philospher.” If you mean anybody who is an atheist, than it would be (in my opinion):
1) Carl Sagan.
2) Richard Dawkins.
3) Anthony Flew before he became a deist.

The only one I know of is Nietchze. (And I probably butchered his name, so I apologise.) As for others, I’m pretty out of the philosophy-circle at the moment, so I’ll have to get back to you once I finally get to delve into that particular subject of studies. (I don’t have a philosophy class in my high school, so I’m stuck to buying books about it until college, pretty much.)
I don’t know if they’re the best or most famous, but I like Nietszche, Ayn Rand, and Voltairine de Cleyre (not many have read her, I don’t think–she’s an anarchist as well).
